Mt. Pleasant ophthalmologist, Michael A. Minadeo MDDr. Minadeo was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Mercy Hurst College in Erie and earned his ophthalmology credentials at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Minadeo moved to Mt. Pleasant and opened Minadeo Eye Center in 1985, and he opened the Mt. Pleasant Surgery Center in 1998. He specializes in cataracts and glaucoma as well as general ophthalmology.

Mt. Vernon ophthalmologist, Mark R. Jaffe MDDr. Jaffe is an experienced ocular and facial plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. His honors include a Special Achievement and Excellence Award in Basic Science and Plastic Surgery Research in 1991. Pittsburg optometrist, Mark J. Glanzer ODDr. Glanzer received his B.S. in Vision Science in 1992 and a Doctorate in Optometry in 1994 from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oklahoma. He then completed a hospital-based residency at the American Lake VA Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. Following residency he joined the faculty at NSU College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma as an assistant clinical professor.

Dr. Glanzer has participated at the Minadeo Eye Center since 1997 and specializes in the medical treatment of eye disease and injury as well as comprehensive eye exams.

Sulphur Springs ophthalmologist, Paula J. Phillips MD

Dr. Phillips has practiced medical ophthalmology at Minadeo Eye Center since 1996. She trained at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Baylor College of Medicine, and the University of Florida. She was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1990. She also practices in Houston and holds a part-time faculty appointment at Baylor College of Medicine.

Paris ophthalmologist, Martin K. Reinke MDDr. Reinke is board certified in Ophthalmology and sub-specializes in diseases of the retina and vitreous. He was born in Amarillo and practices in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in Biology in 1986. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and served his internship in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City and concluded his training with a two-year Vitreoretinal fellowship with the Retina Service at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Washburn ODDr. Washburn received her doctorate of optometry at University of Houston College of Optometry in Houston after earning a B.A. in Biology and Spanish from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She completed internships at University Eye Institute in Houston, Kessler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi, and Arapaho and Ft. Washakie Indian Health Services in Wyoming.

Dr. Washburn has been with Minadeo Eye Center since 2000. She provides comprehensive eye examinations and specializes in contact lens fittings.
